Jessica
Jessica
Börjesson is the Swedish watercolor and mixed media
artist and illustrator behind the very detailed and colorful art
found here at Artful Colors by Jessica. She was born in 1974
and lives with her husband and children and their animals on the swedish westcoast in this
gorgeous little cottage, where she also has her studio:
Since
Jessica and her family are very fond of animals they have a bunch, and
will probably have more in the future. Right now a dog, five
cats, two gerbils, two bunnies and several Brahmachickens are
accompanying Jessica during her artful adventures. In
the past the family has had both sheep and geese.
Like it is for most artists, Jessica has been drawing and
painting since early childhood and have been continuing to do that
every day during the years that have passed since. Jessica has not
got any formal
education in art. She works mainly in watercolor using ink,
gouache and colored pencils as complimentary tools when she
is creating the colorful, highly detailed and charming art she is known and
very appreciated for.
